BTW! In case you guys haven't heard, Arashi is up against KAT-TUN in Channel V's Battle of the Pop. The results show is on SUNDAY, 12NN-6PM in GMT +8. Yes, it's that long. Why?

This is because Channel V will show a video of each artist per round. So for example, in round one, it was Arashi vs. Super Junior, Channel V will show one video of Arashi and one of Suju's. After a video from each of the 16 starting artists have been played, round 2 videos will be played. This means, since it was Arashi vs Yui, a video of Yui's and Arashi's will be played. Note that this video will be different from the first video shown. So, in total, four videos of Arashi will be shown (Arashi vs SuJu, Arashi vs Yui, Arashi vs Ayumi Hamasaki, Arashi vs KAT-TUN), BUT the overall winner gets two or more videos shown at the end of the show.

I think that more than the competition, this is great exposure for Arashi, especially given the fact that it's their 10th year. So please vote!

What this about the Japanese not happy there's a Japanese adaptation of Gantz? Worried about the CG and the cast (NINOOOO)? Oh heck. The thing is not masterpiece anyway. The manga is flawed and the anime sucked. The concept and idea is pretty interesting and definitely is a wonderful material for a movie, sans the porn, REALLY. The action is fabulous with wonderfully done CG and the dialogues terribly needed more tweaking. Certainly those talented actors cast as leads will bring GANTZ to a whole new level.
People here and this person here are underestimating Ninomiya Kazunari as Kei. Eventhough the guy was the LEAD in Clint Eastwood Oscar nominated movie, he's still just a boyband member is it??? WELL, my boy Nino don't need to prove anything but I hope he'll blow their expectation off with his Kei. The thing is... I haven't watched Nino owned a whole work like he did in Ao no Honou. He's an actor who likes to "share" and blend rather than stand out. I want to see that selfish Nino again. Really too bad I have to wait 2 years to watch this movie. A lot will happen in 2 years. I just hope I'm still here, loving Arashi like now 2 years from now and is happy with Nino's Kei.

In other news..
Aiba did very well in My Girl and made me cry while I'm totally in ove with Momoka-chan.
Channel[V] screwed us up (probably its Johnny's fault who's not into international promotions much >.<). Hopefully we'll see that promised Video[scope]

Right after this HATESECRETPOST was posted Super Junior numbers went up REALLY fast leaving Arashi trailing behind by 500 votes. I hope the numbers will change after I come back from my trip and maybe the gap will be smaller. I really want them to win. The promotions.. Think about the possibilities. Another Asia tour or even World tour. I'm getting way over my head but PLEASE VOTE m(_ _)m
Channel[V] promotes the artist well. Even Big Bang was promoted as the "Chosen One" for a month and Super Junior got "Videoscoped".

A lot of jealous people on to get Arashi votes down. Also it looks as though Arashi have the best chance to win against DBSK if they are through this round and on to the finals. HELP.

On other interesting news:

Last week, Katie Couric had the tables turned on her. During an interview with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Couric asked about Neda Soltan, the Iranian female who was shot and killed by Iranian security back in June.

After expressing his regret for the loss of life, Mr. Ahmadinejad pulled out a photo of another woman. He showed it to Ms. Couric and asked if she knew who the woman was. Couric said she didn't, and that's when Ahmadinejad pounced.

Ahmadinejad explained that the woman in the photo is Marwa Ali El-Sherbini. She was stabbed to death in a German court by a neo-Nazi. The Iranian president then asked why the death of Ms. El-Sherbini wasn't being publicized by the media in the same way as Neda's. Ahmadinejad "suggested that the western media — who turned Neda into a martyr — ignored Marwa's story."

I shouldn't have whined about my job when there are others who have lost their jobs, lost their belongings in the flood and lost their life's work and loved ones in the quake. And sorry for being so serious.
